Charging for delivery helps cover the cost of postage and packaging with any profits going directly back to The Charity and helping us to reach our goals of doubling survival and halving the harm.
Please note that we can’t guarantee that orders placed after 1pm on Friday 9th December will get to you before Christmas. Whilst we’ll be processing and sending out orders right up until 23rd December, with expected delivery times of over 10 days items may not arrive in time for the big day.
Orders are typically taking 24-48 hours from receipt to being sent out, and we know that some of our customers receive their orders within 3-5 working days – BUT please allow for any postal delays, as once your parcel is with the Royal Mail we can’t track it or control how long it takes to reach you.
Our shop will be closed from 22nd December to 3rd January.
Please note that our offices will be closed from end of working day Friday 23rd December – before re-opening on 3rd January – as will our warehouse. We’ll be unable to answer queries about your orders during that time.
For the Christmas period our standard delivery costs for the UK will be as below.
|Subtotal of cards and gifts||£0.00 – £24.99||£25.00 – £34.99||£35 – £49.99||£50+|
The cost of postage takes into account packaging, fulfilment cost and Royal Mail costs for second-class delivery. Prices are based on the average weight of orders of a particular value. Any profit made through postage goes directly to The Brain Tumour Charity.
The cost of postage increases with the amount spent to reflect the increased weight of the package. Typically the more spent the heavier the parcel will be, therefore the higher the Royal Mail charges.
